My favorite Development Art

Favorite development art!

Some of my favorite designs from a project for Starburns Industries.

Big Sur and The Post Ranch Inn were inspirations for the designs, then I added extra details like the observatory on the roof and the compost room. Everything had to be sustainable including growing and storing your own food. The dam powered the town.

Foster's BGs Used for Teaching Children

Don Masse, an elementary school teacher at Zamorano Fine Arts Academy in San Diego, created an assignment using art from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends to teach foreground, middle ground, background. Zamorano is an art focused elementary school that serves a diverse population of students.

The Foster's BGs below were used as examples

All rights to Foster's designs belong to Cartoon Network

The children created the images below using cut paper for a background, then applying a middle ground layer, and a foreground on top.

Man vs Art Interview with Carol Wyatt

Interview with Carol Wyatt
Man vs. Art with Raul Aguirre Jr.

You can hear the interview here:

A few items from my Simpsons days:

Simpsons Illustrated Magazine in 3D from 1992
It came with 3D glasses!

An original color markup from The Simpsons
Early 1990's

A lovely sketch by David Silverman, he left for me on one of my scene folders

I believe the people are (clockwise):
Sherry Gunther, Rich Moore, David Silverman, and Nancy Kruse (Why Nancy?
She was always bunnies and sunshine)

For the record, I never punched or kicked anyone. But Bea Arthur did
hit me with her car just outside our building on Highland and Fountain.
